Paying for School

Tuition on your budget, from private kindergarten through college. Let’s make it work.

While financial approaches can vary, most fund education through a mix of savings plans, financial aid, and grants and scholarships.

Savings Plans

Be it elementary school or grad school, we can estimate year-over-year costs of school and set realistic annual savings goals to get there. Goldstein Financial Future can offer insight into 529 Plans and Coverdell Educational Savings Accounts (ESAs), as well as their potential tax advantages.

Financial Aid

The federal aid system is tricky to navigate; occasionally clients need guidance through all of the necessary paperwork. We have applied for financial assistance for our own children and clients, and have learned from our mistakes. We help clients with the Free Application for Student Aid (FAFSA), the College Scholarship Service (CSS) Profile, and the Secondary Scholarship Service (SSS) Profile for K-12 private school aid.

Grants and Scholarships

Sometimes savings and federal aid are not enough, or applicants are ineligible for need-based aid. Goldstein Financial Future has a curated database of grants and scholarships in North Texas, and can find additional grants and scholarships specific to other regions, colleges and majors. Whether it’s tuition, living expenses or supplies, grants and scholarships can lighten the load.
